This includes books, videotapes, DVDs, sample libraries, style disks, sound expansion boards, and software which may also include software bundled with hardware.

This includes cleaning supplies and care products. This includes wind instruments, mouthpieces, guitar talk boxes, earplugs, and in-ear earphones. This includes all guitar, amplifier, and turntable parts. This includes shirts, hats, and gloves. This includes tubes, strings, pickups, raw frame speakers, drum heads, drumsticks, cymbals, cowbells, and harmonicas.

These items can only be returned to us if they are unopened. Gift certificates cannot be returned. If a product is found to be defective, you must contact Avid customer support at to obtain a case number. If Avid determines that the product is defective, contact our returns department. Any defective merchandise must be dealt with directly through Native Instruments. If a product is found to be defective, you must contact Native Instruments customer support at for service.

Wear and tear refers to any damage that was not present when you received your merchandise -- rack mounting damage, scratches, dents, etc. Contents consists of any included parts and accessories, as well as the warranty card and manual without user's notes or markings. Packaging includes all inner and outer packaging, complete with the original barcode affixed. This fee may apply if you refuse delivery or as a result of delivery exceptions, as well as from a typical return.

That is what they are supposed to do. Didn't realize something so obvious, and a legal necessity, needs explaining. I will never stop complaining about the new DD I bought that had Costco batteries in it.

I wonder if that is actually the case of if they are just quoting and extra day due to the fact the FedEx Ground had been overwhelmed due to the increase in business. They were on back order when I originally made my purchase and then they were shipped from Las Vegas if I'm not mistaken so there was clearly no hope for next day free delivery. I know I had to wait several days for one shipment that was handled by FedEx and over a week for another. That was at the height of the delays.
